Comprehensive Psychological Evaluations

We offer several options for psychological evaluations. Every evaluation is individualized for each child's needs and parents concerns. We specialize in Psychoeducational Evaluations such as learning disabilities and dyslexia, ADHD, Anxiety, Gifted evaluations, Developmental Delay (for little ones), and Autism assessments. Please note that evaluations are comprehensive meaning that while you may suspect ADHD for example, if the results of the evaluation indicate it may not be ADHD or more than ADHD you will be consulted as to next steps. Most parents are looking for answers or a why not just a diagnosis.

We also offer cognitive screenings and Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics Assessments (brain mapping for trauma).

Learning Disability Evaluations

Psychoeducational evaluations are comprehensive assessments that are conducted to identify a student's learning strengths and weaknesses. They include an assessment of cognitive, academic, and social emotional factors that affect educational and academic performance. These evaluations can help identify any learning disabilities, attention deficits, or other issues that may be impacting a student's academic performance. The results of these evaluations can be shared with the child's school team and could be used to help with Individuals With Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) categories. These evaluations start at $1500.

ADHD Evaluations

An ADHD evaluation is a thorough assessment designed to diagnose ADHD by examining behavioral, emotional, and cognitive aspects. Our goal is to provide a detailed understanding of symptoms and their impact on daily life, helping to inform appropriate treatment and support. ADHD Evaluations start at $750.

Autism Evaluations

An autism evaluation is a detailed assessment designed to diagnose Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). It involves gathering information from multiple sources and using various tools to assess behavior, communication, and developmental history. Our goal is to provide a clear understanding of the individual’s strengths and needs and to guide appropriate interventions and support. Autism Evaluations start at $2500

Gifted Evaluations

A gifted evaluation is an assessment process used to determine whether a child qualifies for gifted education programs. These programs are designed for students who demonstrate exceptional intellectual abilities, creativity, or talents that go beyond the typical academic curriculum. The evaluation typically involves several components to provide a comprehensive view of the child’s cognitive abilities, creativity, and academic achievements.The goal of the evaluation is to identify areas of exceptional strength and to help guide the educational accommodations or enrichment opportunities that can foster the child’s abilities. These types of evaluations are often used for admission to private schools. Gifted Evaluations start at $650.

Developmental Delay Evaluation

A developmental evaluation is an assessment designed to understand a child's developmental progress in key areas such as cognitive, motor, language, social, and emotional skills. It helps identify any developmental delays or disorders early, enabling timely intervention. The key aspects of this evaluation include: Cognitive Development, Motor Skills, Communication Skills, Social and Emotional Development, Behavior, and Adaptive Skills. The process may involve standardized tests, observations, and interviews with parents or caregivers. This evaluation is critical for identifying developmental delays like autism, ADHD, or speech disorders, leading to early intervention plans to support the child's growth and development. NMT Brain Mapping Assessment

A "Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics (NMT) evaluation" is a comprehensive assessment that uses the principles of neurodevelopment to analyze a child's developmental history and current functioning, particularly focusing on how trauma may have impacted their brain development, to identify specific areas needing therapeutic intervention, tailored to their unique needs and strengths; it is not a single therapy technique but rather a framework for guiding treatment plans based on a "brain map" of their development. This information is then used to help determine an appropriate and effective holistic treatment plan. NMT evaluations can be done in person or remotely and start at $750.
